Callie and Brian were married in September and I had the pleasure of second-shooting the wedding with Alex, who is normally my sidekick on weddings by Captivating Imagery. It was a fun opportunity to switch it up. Because of the tight schedule for Callie and Brian’s wedding day, we added a third shooter, Erica, who helped to capture some of the fantastic details at Callie and Brian’s wedding. So naturally, this post is a collaborative effort.
It’s hard to believe it’s already November and the holiday season is right around the corner. So if you’re the type who likes to send custom holiday cards (I am! Our dog Brownie usually graces our Christmas cards…), it’s the time to start thinking about ordering yours before the Dec. 9th deadline. Here’s a sample for Katherine and Robert who were married this July at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. This design is great for newlyweds who’d like to share a wedding portrait with their family and friends. I also have designs for family and newborn portraits.
These flat 4×5.5 cards are full-color and two-sided with space for you to write a message on the back. The cards include envelopes and are sold in sets of 25 for $35 (sales tax included).
Here’s what the back looks like:
I’m working on my order now so that I can have them ready to go before all the hustle and bustle begins. The turnaround time for design, printing and shipping is 10 days. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to email or call me. I’d be happy to talk with you!

Carolyn and Ryan were married on a beautiful Saturday two weeks ago at Holy Innocents Parish in Pittsburgh’s West End. Carolyn’s vision for a fall wedding came to life with lots of fabulous details, locations, and an awesome bridal party. All around, it was a fun day to be a photographer. We started with Carolyn and the ladies at her parents’ home and then headed to the church to catch up with Ryan and the guys.

Melissa and Gabe were married two Saturdays ago at Rolling Acres in Beaver County and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. There were clear skies and no rain clouds after a week of rainy weather. So it was a gorgeous fall day! On top of that, it was just such a treat to photograph Melissa and Gabe’s wedding because their absolute affection for one another warmed my heart.
We started with Melissa and her bridesmaids at Kelly’s Cuts in Beaver. And then caught up with Gabe and the groomsmen at the golf course.
Melissa’s feathered headpiece was an awesome find on Etsy. And her flats really remind me of pointe shoes. Gotta love her details! Before I forget, I need to give props to Alex, my trusty second shooter as many of the images from their wedding are his. Thanks Alex!

Aimee and John tied the knot two Saturdays ago on a bright Fall day. Their wedding day brought with it two new venues (well new to me, and it’s always nice to add new venues to the list) with the ceremony at Knoxville United Presbyterian Church in the South Hills. What a lovely little church tucked right in the middle of a Pittsburgh neighborhood. And it was just a short drive to their reception at the Wendell Inn, a large old building that looks like it might once have been a school with a beautiful ballroom on the top floor. Anyway, I’m getting out of order here, let’s start with Aimee and her bridesmaids getting ready at the Marriott Spring Hill Suites at the Southside Works.
