First Birthday Cake Smash and Bubble Bath

I love photographing first birthdays, especially after having photographed the same family’s newborn session.  It is so much fun to see the growth that has happened over the past year!  I love the cake smash and bubble bath sessions so much that I have a big fiberglass tub that I fill and heat to a comfortable 98 degrees.  And someday I’ll share the behind the scenes of that process, because it is quite a feat without plumbing in my studio!  But just look at this image…it is so worth it!

Now Scheduling Mommy & Me Sessions to Benefit Nurture Pa!

Need a special gift for the mom in your life?  Look no further, we’ve got what she really wants and you can benefit a great organization that supports moms.  We’re excited to be partnering with the Nurture Program for our Mommy & Me photoshoot fundraiser on May 6th.

Now Offering Custom Framing

This winter, I learned all about custom framing thanks to a few retired framers who were willing to share their craft.  This was the next logical step for me as I made a shift a few years ago to providing high-quality artwork with the intent of simplifying this overwhelming task for my clients.  And I am so excited to see this coming together with the purchase of professional framing equipment and setting up my workshop.

Feeling the Love with this Maternity Session

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Just had to share a few favorites from this recent maternity session.  It will warm your heat with a sweet couple ready to welcome their baby into the world.  I love this mama’s red dress and one of my favorites from the session is the silhouette of her in that dress!

Expectantly Waiting: A Maternity Session Before Two Becomes Three

I love photographing expectant parents together.  Sometimes dads-to-be can feel as though they’re looked over as we focus on that growing baby belly.  And while a mama is doing all of the work growing that baby, a dad’s role goes from supportive partner to so much more.  I see this in my own family and can say that he is a huge deal for my two boys.
