Last-Minute Headshots with Quick Turnaround

Most of us don’t schedule headshots without some kind of deadline. And most often, the deadline doesn’t give much notice.  It could be a new job, a speaking engagement, getting published, or the needing a current headshot to include as you promote a new project.  I try to accommodate these needs as much as possible and am even blocking time in my schedule for last-minute headshots.

Yay for Summer! A Beach-Themed Photoshoot

While I mainly focus on capturing families naturally, emphasizing relationship and emotion, I do love a themed photoshoot too and this beach-themed photoshoot has the best summer vibes!  I’m offering this as an Inspo Shoot for families at a local daycare and if you love summer like I do and want to bring your kids in too, I’m opening this up for everyone.

Looking Good, Class of 2023!

It’s that time of year when high school seniors walk through their graduations and step into their next adventure. And from my camera, the future looks good!  Plus, this has been the first year where I’ve been able to photograph seniors in my studio, so that’s been great!

Six Month Session at Cranberry Photo Studio

Getting to spend a morning with this family for their son’s 6-month session was just the sweetest.  It reminded me of what that phase is like and it was a treat to get lost in the moments as I edited their session.  I have photos of my boys at this age and it’s a good thing, because they help me remember those sweet moments (and some of the struggles, to be honest!)  Take a look with me and be reminded that life is sweet.

Celebrating 15 Years!

Fifteen years ago, I registered my business name and photographed my first wedding.  I was just celebrating my own first anniversary and had a handful of classes at Pittsburgh Filmmakers under my belt.  Thankfully, this couple had faith in me for their lovely backyard wedding and I walked away with the start of my portfolio and a certainty that I had found my passion.  A few years later, I left my full-time job to focus on my photography business and not long after that, we had our first son.  And while I still enjoy photographing weddings, I fell in love with capturing babies and families—always with the dream of opening a studio in the back of my mind.  And in June of last year, that dream came true and I’m celebrating 15 years in business and my first year at the studio!
