With several hundred weddings under her belt, Kate has a lot of insight to offer brides and grooms from a photography perspective as they plan their wedding. Kate is the main point of contact and will be your go-to for all correspondence leading up to your wedding day. She’s also a wedding editing whiz and has always kept her promise of delivering galleries within two weeks from the wedding day.

Alex has over 35 years in experience as a photographer. So much in fact that he learned the craft before digital photography existed. Alex knows his stuff and learned it all the hard way. He has photographed several hundred weddings including high-profile Pittsburgh weddings.

Jessica is a natural leader, bringing calm in the midst of chaos. She is as sweet as her smile and has a natural way with people. Jessica is an expert at helping brides and grooms overcome their nerves so that she can capture them at ease, bringing out their best through her camera.

What is the Process?
Kate photographed my twin brother and I for our senior portraits in 2012. This October, my husband and I had the joy of Kate photographing our wedding. We received the edited photos quickly and we were thrilled at the final product. Kate created beautiful photos that we will treasure for years to come. We can’t wait to share them with all our friends and family!
Kate did an absolutely amazing job with our photos. She was super responsive and got all of the photos I asked for. Not only did she get posed photos, but got several candid shots that are so perfect! I wasn’t sure how long I would need a photographer for and, at the consultation, she told me that 6 hours (the shortest amount of time she offered) would be plenty and it was for our wedding.
I had such an amazing experience with Kate Miller for my engagement photography session and for my wedding day photography! She went above and beyond to capture these important moments. Our first engagement session got rained out and she was so wonderful about rescheduling to make sure we had beautiful photos. Kate took the time to get to know us as a couple and what was most important to us for her to capture. We sat down and made a list of all the important moments and family portraits. The wedding day went by so quickly but now we have a huge album of everything from the wedding party, family, guests, the venue, our decorations and of course bride and groom shots. Less than a week after the wedding, we had just returned from our honeymoon and we already had our pictures back! I was so happy to share them with family and friends. I ordered multiple prints to frame for myself and our parents and grandparents. The prints are excellent quality and I am so glad I ordered them through Kate. She sent them in plenty of time to give them as Christmas gifts. I still get so many complements on our pictures and I tell everyone to use Captivating Imagery to capture their beautiful moments. Kate did our wedding photos and she was absolutely fantastic. She was able to recommend the best time of day to not have harsh lighting during our ceremony (we had not yet chosen the time when we booked her), and a nice location to go take photos after the ceremony.
She did awesome with a family member who has some mobility issues. She was also just great with noticing little things that we had overlooked, like she noticed that the sun was starting to go down and no one had plugged in the lights we had hung yet, so she plugged them in for us.
Obviously the most important part is the photos – they were beautiful!! I have never considered myself to be a photogenic person, but she managed to make myself and my husband look great. We were both so happy and impressed with how well our photos turned out and how many beautiful photos we got of our day. There wasn’t a moment of our wedding that wasn’t captured!
I would absolutely recommend Kate for anything.
