Hi!  My name is Kate Miller and I am a newborn and family photographer.  

Parenting can be hard, and yet it’s one of the most rewarding things we do in life.    I struggled as a mom with a young family and when I think back, I want to remember the good times.   If you’re a new parent, and you haven’t experienced it yet, a photoshoot with little ones can be very challenging.  I remember how much it meant for me to have just one good photo.  And now, when I look at the artwork on our walls, I remember the sweet victories and can celebrate how far we’ve come. I love that I get to do the same for other families as a newborn and family photographer.

My own family experience deeply impacts my process as a photographer.  Being a people-person, I am attentive to how others are feeling and good at helping my clients feel comfortable.  The word patient often shows up in my Google reviews and I’d like to thank my two sweet and wild boys for that, because I definitely wasn’t born that way.  Because I care so much about how others feel, I won’t be satisfied until I create something meaningful. And I couldn’t ask for anything more when my clients recognize this passion and commitment.
