Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at custom framing in our Cranberry Photo Studio.  I added this service over the winter because it really supports what makes my portrait business unique. If you want to display artwork from your session in a framed print, I am here to help with the best tools and materials to present your artwork so it shines.

It starts with a professional print for accurate color and contrast.  Then I dry-mount the print on conservation mat board.  If a mat is selected to border the print, I cut the mat to size.  And for a crystal-clear and anti-reflective surface, I use UltraVue UV70 Glass.  I love using my wall-mounted glass cutter even as I hold my breath when I put pressure on the scored glass and it breaks clean.  It’s a bit of a rush, but the best part of all is admiring the finished framed print.

When I have a chance to photograph some client orders and studio samples, I’ll post an update of the finished product.  Or you could stop by my booth at Cranberry Community Days to see the artwork in person.
