Full Service Sessions: Delivering Tangible Artwork That Satisfies

When I made the switch to Full Service Sessions, my hope was to help my clients by simplifying the process of turning digital files into tangible artwork.  Before when my sessions only included files, it was like baking them a delicious pie and giving it to them in a box, then they’d put that box in the fridge until they were ready to enjoy it. The trouble is, family life is busy! Like a refrigerator full of leftovers and take-out containers, that pie can easily be overlooked. And how sad is that when you go to clear out the fridge and find that pie. I’ll stop that metaphor here because I love pie (a little too much) and just the thought of it going to waste makes me feel remorse. Funny thing is, the more time passes, people are less likely to make something tangible with those digital files.

I joke about pie, but I really do feel a bit anxious about getting behind with my own personal photos. So, the way that Full Service Sessions are structured, you don’t need to feel bad. I walk you through the whole process starting with a Photo Reveal (in-person or on Zoom), where I share a slideshow with highlights, some sample wall galleries, and a sample album design with your images. That way you can see the possibilities and decide what is best for you. After that, I help you to narrow down your favorites and get started on retouching and preparing your order. For anyone who prefers to look at all of their images on their own, I create a proof gallery where you can select favorites and place an order. As I mentioned in an earlier post, shipping/delivery is free for the remainder of 2021!

For this family, purchasing the complete set of proofs was important to them. So, they did that and also decided to order a 10-page album to celebrate their son’s first birthday. I think that was wise because when I think about what I would rather have five years from now, I know my answer will always be the album! Plus, you get a custom photo app with the retouched archival files from your order, so you can download them and always have your artwork at your fingertips—it’s a no-brainer!
