Pittsburgh Wedding: Immaculate Heart of Mary and University Club
Pittsburgh is such a beautiful city to be married in and that Molly and Vivek planned such a stunning wedding here is no surprise! But one unexpected treat about photographing their wedding day was their ceremony at the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Polish Hill. I’ve always driven by the huge dome when going from the Strip to Oakland and wondered what it looked like inside. And after seeing it in all it’s glory, I think this church is another hidden gem in the long list of beautiful churches in our city.
This sanctuary is massive and I felt like we could have stumbled upon this church somewhere in Europe.
This is one of those shots I never count on getting because the timing is always tricky, but am happily surprised when I can maintain focus while tracking the couple walking out of their ceremony.
This wedding took place over two days and I really enjoyed the pace of it. Plus, two days equals two dresses! And Molly was breath-taking in both.
Goodness, gracious! This last shot of Molly is one of my favorites of the day.
Their reception was at the University Club and was fantastic all around – from the toasts, to the dinner and dancing! Great job, DJ Adam Bomb!
Best wishes to you, Molly and Vivek! It was a pleasure being a part of your wedding!
Lovely wedding, lovely couple.
What a beautiful wedding!! You did a great job, Kate. But then you always do :) Incredible church setting too!
Thank you, both! :)
