Pittsburgh Wedding Photography at Phipps Conservatory and Hyeholde
Whew! I’m a bit behind on my blogging after a very busy month of May with lots and lots of shooting. It’s been great and I’ll have lots to show for it in the next few weeks, but now I’d like to focus on a beautiful wedding that took place at Phipps Conservatory. Stephanie and Ed were married in the Broderie room and it couldn’t have been lovelier! Between the lush greenery at Phipps and the beautiful blooms in Stephanie’s bouquet by Hepatica, I can’t think of the last time I saw such gorgeous flowers.
We met up with Stephanie at Cambria Suites by the Consol Energy Center. I love this photo of her by Alex. She looks stunning in her wedding gown.
The ceremony was short and sweet as it can get pretty humid in the Broderie room in the summer. This is one of my favorite shots from the ceremony, during their recessional. I just love the joy on their faces. I think it looks like they’re just realizing it’s official—they’re husband and wife!
We stayed for a few photos in the Broderie Room afterwards. How could you not take advantage of that opportunity? It’s so beautiful!
And then we headed outside to the main entrance for a photo that practically says, “We were just married at Phipps!”
This one is one of my favorites from the day.
I love it when a couple is flirty!
These next few photos are from the grounds of the Hyeholde Restaurant where they held their reception in the Round Room.
There is a carriage house by the main building, that is pretty much always open and makes for a great set up for a silhouette.
Their cake was so sweet. I wish I asked about the bakery.
We headed out for a few more shots after their cake cutting.
And to wrap up this beautiful day, here’s another favorite.
Stephanie and Ed, congratulations and many blessings to you and your marriage!
