Pittsburgh Wedding Photography at St. Mary of the Assumption and the Mayernick Center
Here’s the complete scoop on Megan and Zak’s wedding photography. You might want to check out my previous sneak peek as well. This was such a lovely day and it was so much fun to work with Megan and Zak. We started at her parent’s home where Megan and her bridesmaids were getting ready. I really love the design on the back of Megan’s dress. And she looked so pretty in it! And Zak surprised her with a limo for the day—what a sweet groom!
The ceremony at St. Mary of the Assumption was very sweet. I loved that Megan wore her veil up until their kiss after the marriage vows.
In my last post, I mentioned that we headed to Hartwood Acres for portraits of Megan and Zak after the ceremony. I can’t get enough of that place. It’s such a romantic setting for portraits of the bride and groom.
We had some fun with it too! No need to be too serious on your wedding day!
This is one of my favorites of them kissing under the veil. They’re such a sweet couple!
Then we headed to the Mayernick Center in Avonworth Community Park. It is a wonderful venue for weddings. Both Megan and her sister Kristen held their receptions there. When you come across a good venue like that, it’s an easy decision for the family. Check out their adorable flower girl, Bailey. And the tug of war photo was Megan’s idea and it was lots of fun. Although, I was nervous about someone getting pulled down. Thank goodness there were no casualties!
Megan and Zak, it was such a joy to be part of your wedding. Thank you for having us and many blessings to you!
