Callie and Brian’s Pittsburgh Wedding Photography
Callie and Brian were married in September and I had the pleasure of second-shooting the wedding with Alex, who is normally my sidekick on weddings by Captivating Imagery. It was a fun opportunity to switch it up. Because of the tight schedule for Callie and Brian’s wedding day, we added a third shooter, Erica, who helped to capture some of the fantastic details at Callie and Brian’s wedding. So naturally, this post is a collaborative effort.
The ceremony and reception were both held at Callie’s family home. It was a lovely setting and Callie was simply stunning!
I love it when flower girls run down the aisle. She was so proud!
For the portraits, Callie had a large picnic blanket for the group to sit on under a tree that she played in with her sister and brother when they were growing up. It was sentimental for her and a fun way to photograph the bridal party.
Major kudos to Callie’s family for bringing together all of the great details. I love the blue and white stripe ticking with the soft pink flowers.
Fun was had all around at the reception. In the photo at the upper left Brian is surprised when he cuts the groom’s cake to find that it’s layered in his school colors. Other fun surprises were baskets full of flip flops for sore feet and another large basket of warm, white blankets for guest to stay warm into the night. Once the basket with the blankets was emptied, they found a fun use for it on the dance floor—guests took turns riding in it as it was passed high above. Those photos and many more can be found in their web gallery.
Callie and Brian, congratulations and many blessings to you and your marriage!
How pretty! I love all the little details.
Thanks Valerie! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
